MEET BRETT ENRIGHT
IT STARTED
WITH A
CORN DOG.
At 15, Brett started selling corn dogs and lemonade at the fair. That fairground beginning is where Juicy’s story takes root.

THE ORIGINAL FAIRGROUND KID
FIFTEEN.
AND HUNGRY.
In September 1985, GRIT featured 15-year-old Brett Enright and his own fair-food business, Brett’s Blue Ribbon Food. He owned and operated a trailer serving corn dogs, fresh lemonade, burritos, and foot-long hot dogs at county fairs throughout the Midwest.
Brett grew up traveling the fair circuit with his family. At 15, he was doing much of the work himself, from cooking to cleaning. That hands-on fairground beginning is still part of Juicy’s today: Burgers, Shakes & Funnel Cakes, and the feeling of a day at the fair.
Now the story continues at Armature Works, Bradenton, and our new Mall of America restaurant, opening November 2, 2026.
